What’s New in Paint Products this Spring?

It’s the time of year when homeowners’ thoughts turn to improvements both inside and outside the home, and our neighbours have just painted their house in a delightful pale green.  I rang Brendon Kent of Kent’s H Hardware in Dalton Street to ask him about what’s new in paint products this Spring.

‘This is our busiest time of year in many different hardware products as people get their homes and gardens ready for entertaining family and friends in the run up to Christmas and New Year.  We stock many different brands of paint including Haymes Paints that are Australian owned and manufactured in Ballarat.  Other paints stocked include Dulux, which is now Japanese owned, and Taubman paints which are also made in Australia. Our paints are environmentally friendly and stand the test of time.  They are also very good value for money.

We have a paint matching machine and if you bring in a small sample of paint we can name the paint and mix the colour to match it.’

‘Now is also the best time of year for building and maintaining decks. Cutek from New Zealand is by far the best decking oil and once people have used it they rarely chose another decking oil’ Brendon said.

‘We have paints for outdoor brickwork and cladding, timber and metal fences, rooves, and pergolas.  We serve a lot of trade painters, local builders, carpenters and plumbers.’

Kent’s Hardware staff have a wealth of experience and advise customers about the best products to use for different scenarios.  So, if you have a project in mind for your home – indoor or outdoor – let Kent’s Hardware help you get the best results.
