Destination: New Zealand

Located deep in the heart of the Southern Alps [South Island] you'll find the Mount Cook Village. Hidden amongst the fog, believe it or not, you're only seeing half of this incredible spectacle. 

We took the trusty Kombi Van [our house for the week] along state highway 80 for a closer look, holding up traffic as we tried to climb the steep hills at pace, [pace = 30-40kms, she may have looked pretty but she wasn't fast.] 

The locals told us we wouldn't see much of it [and wouldn't be as impressed] due to the heavy fog that lay over it, though us Aussies were still blown away, how could you not be.
