February 21: Banjo Paterson Poetry Festival Night Market

The iconic Night Market with over 30 food and wine stallholders in Robertson Park. Kick back to the sounds of local musicians and poetry in the park! Gold coin donation on entry.

February 21: James Morrison Quartet

The name James Morrison is known throughout the world for his sheer brilliance as a jazz musician and an all-round entertainer. Join the James Morrison Quartet for an evening of swinging jazz standards, sublime ballads, and haunting Latin numbers with a few surprises thrown in. Featuring James’s sons Harry Morrison on Bass and William Morrison on Guitar as well as Patrick Danao on Drums, the James Morrison Quartet will perform tunes spanning the history of jazz as well as originals by Morrison himself and other Australian jazz greats. February 22: Art Auction for the RFS

The Orange Art Society has organised an auction of local art donated by the artists of Orange and District with 100 per cent of sales to go to the Orange RFS! 5pm at the Art Society Gallery in the Woolworths car park.

Join one of our signature events the 2020 Banjo Paterson Poetry Festival the Community Market at the Orange Civic Northcourt, 8.30am to 1pm. With over 100 local artisan stalls, there will be something for everyone.

February 29: Wine, Dine and Let the Art Shine

The Inner Wheel Club of Orange invite you to a wine tasting, nibbles, dinner and art auction — all for a good cause. Proceeds go to Cord Blood Research and the Kisaru Nkera Initiatives (KINI). All art from the auction has been kindly donated. Tickets cost $45 per person and are available by calling Maria on 0418760412. RSVP and payment required by 21 February.

Salvatore Zofrea: Days of Summer

In 2012, Salvatore Zofrea donated a complete edition from his Days of Summer woodblock series to Orange Regional Gallery. This selection from the original donation of 40 prints presents an extraordinary celebration of flora and fauna in Australia over the summer season.

Collection Highlights

Orange Regional Gallery presents some iconic and well-loved works in the Gallery’s collection alongside recent acquisitions. Works have been selected from the Mary Turner and Chroma collections as well as from the general collection.

The installation features paintings and drawings by Modern artists including Grace Cossington Smith, Ian Fairweather, and Brett Whiteley alongside works by contemporary artists such as Kevin Connor, Harrie Fasher, Emily Kngwarreye, Margaret Loy Pula, Luke Sciberras​ and David Serisier.

8x10 Group Exhibition

Annual event at The Corner Store Gallery featuring works of any medium or subject matter that measure 8x10 inches. Until 4pm, 7 March.
