You want some family fun? Head to Spring Hill this Sunday!
For all keen car enthusiasts all roads lead to Spring Hill on Sunday 3 March 2019 from 10am-2pm. The Spring Hill Activities Group along with the Spring Hill Railway Hotel are holding their bi-annual Coffee, Car, Trucks and Bikes Show.
An event that started as a way for the Spring Hill Activities Group to raise the profile of the Village.
A day orienteered for all car, truck and bike enthusiasts along with a family feel with jumping castle and face-painting in Railway Hotel grounds. A coffee van, Barbeque along with meals will be available at the Railway Hotel.
On offer is a Trophy for the Best Car and a separate trophy for the Best Bike, voted by the public. A $5 entry per vehicle on the day. Highlights from previous shows have seen
Tim Jones Spring Hill Activities Group President commented “We have had great support from car clubs throughout the Central West, we have decided on having regular March and September Car events, it is a unique event as it is held within the Spring Hill Village and around the precinct of the Railway Hotel. We are keen for everyone to be involved”
September’s event showcased some unique vehicles from old working trucks, 12v71 Detroit KW Road Train, Federal Styeliner 1950, and a 1933 Graham 8 Sedan, along with a lot of beautiful classics. There is something for every car enthusiast.
Entertainment at the Railway Hotel will start at 2pm with Justin Landers providing country Rock’n’Roll music.
Please note some roads will be closed in the morning due to the Orange Running Festival but access from Beasley Road via Lucknow or Whiley Road via Millthorpe will be open.
