A calendar to make things better!

It’s that time of the year where people start to think about picking up diaries and calendars for the coming year. If you’re thinking this way about now, can I encourage you to consider buying one of the Let’s Make Better Calendars that are on sale now at both Ashcroft’s IGA stores.

These calendars have been produced by the Ashcroft family as part of their Let’s Make Better local charity to help them maintain their motto or mission “We exist 100% to make someone else’s life better.”

They do this so well, but not without the generous support and help of the community, and especially their customers.

The calendars are big and colourful with plenty of room to make notes, and each month features a photograph of one of the local charities who will benefit. They sell for $10 each and all proceeds from sales will be distributed among local charities that they support.

Buy one for your home or office or to give someone as a gift or as a stocking filler. Whatever your reason, you’ll be doing good and helping someone who needs it.

Those who will benefit from the sale of the calendars include – the 11 children they sponsor through World Vision, The Girls Academy at Canobolas Rural Technology High School, Vinnie’s Food Van, The Clontarf Academy at Canobolas Rural Technology School, Housing Plus, the local Red Cross Blood Bank, Calare Public School’s kitchen garden program, Riding for the Disabled, Calare and Gosling Creek Aged Care, Bowen Public School Breakfast program and The Rainbow Club.
