The Living Space is in Orange at 211 Byng Street, on a bustling corner in the historic Mackie’s Store building. The owners Mike and Mandy Hartnig invite you to slow down and come and enjoy their warm, relaxed, inviting space. 

The Living Space is a complete interior product and design-based service, offering in- home Interior and fire consultations. They work directly with customers and work alongside architect or builders, creating new builds and renovations for their clients. 

As successful Interior Designers and home improvement renovators, Mandy and Mike have designed, and operated their beautiful, soulful retail spaces. They also have their flagship store, opened in 2010 at 218 Great Western Highway. Blackheath, NSW 2785

 Design isn’t just what Mike and Mandy do, it’s who they are. They like to meet their clients and hear about their vision, their needs and create individual, personality driven spaces for our customers, with offerings of qualified services, expertise, and friendly advice.

The Living Space offers delicious coffee and light food options in the coffee shop area, run by Nile St café, for dine in or take away, 7.30am till 2pm Tuesday to Saturday. 

The store offering ranges from quality, known brands of wood, gas, and electric fires, also Esse electric & wood cookers, and Australian owned ecofriendly Murobond paints. Additional product and services available include custom curtains, blinds, and plantation shutters, fabrics, furniture, rugs, lighting, bedlinen, men’s and ladies’ body and soul products, accessories, and décor pieces.

The Living Space are about to launch their stores as Franchise opportunities and recreate ‘The Living Space’ stores throughout the regions of Australia, encouraging likeminded creative people into starting their very own Living Space, as a destination store.
