Ramen back on the menu at Raku Izakaya

Established in 2018, Raku Izakaya is Orange’s first and only modernised Japanese restaurant.

The word ‘Raku’ translates as ‘joy’, ‘pleasure’, or ‘enjoyment’ and reflects the restaurant’s approach to creating the perfect place to eat and drink. Dining at Raku Izakaya you will enjoy a cosy atmosphere and high-quality dishes based on Japanese cooking techniques using the freshest and finest ingredients.

On their menu, you will find classic Japanese dishes such as Karaage, Tataki, Tempura, and Katsu, as well as modernised dishes that are artfully and delicately crafted such as their selection of Sushi, Sashimi, and Rolls.

Raku Izakaya prides itself on its signature mains such as mouth-watering Wagyu beef and delicious twice-cooked pork belly, or try their lunchtime favourite Bento boxes and Donburi bowls. Takeaway is also available.

Due to popular demand, Japanese Ramen is now back on the menu at Raku Izakaya. Choose either the shoyu ramen based on tonkotsu, spicy flavour, or the vegetarian and vegan-friendly Vegetable miso ramen.

Raku Izakaya is a family-friendly restaurant and can accommodate a wide range of special dietary requirements, such as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free.

They are fully licensed and offer a wide variety of drinks including Japanese craft beers on tap, cocktails, spirits, including sake and umeshu as well as a selection of local wines. 

Raku Izakaya is open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch 11.30am–2:30 PM, dinner Thursday 5.30–9.30pm, and dinner Friday–Saturday 6–10pm.

Starting from mid-May, Raku Izakaya will be open on Mondays, with additional outdoor tables.
