Horses’ Birthday Open Day at Riding for the Disabled Orange

It was a big day out at the Riding for the Disabled Orange (RDA) centre at Clifton Grove last Wednesday as local children and their parents celebrated the Horses’ Birthday, traditionally held on August 1 each year.

The young riders celebrated with a birthday cake after treating their mounts to a tasty carrot for their special day.

The Open Day was also an opportunity for parents and friends to come along to see a demonstration of the children's riding skills, and for potential new volunteers to come and get familiar with the work of the RDA team.
