You’re in secure hands with Orange Lock and Key

Locked out of your home or office? Concerned about security? Orange Lock and Key is a brand new mobile locksmithing business that’s here to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Orange Lock and Key may be a new name in business in the Central West, but proprietor Jesse Kramer has more than a decade of experience in the locksmithing trade.

“I started when I was 15, as soon as I left year 10,” Jesse said, who made a point early in his career to seek experience in as many different aspects of the trade as he could.

“I learnt early that each locksmith operates very differently; different products, different machinery and the way they do things, so I branched out and have worked at multiple different locksmiths in Sydney,” he said.

“I’ve worked all around Sydney and the metropolitan area, and I’ve worked on large contracts from a young age — I used to service all the NSW fire stations all around Sydney. It was all about gaining knowledge in the trade as a whole, rather than being restricted to one area.”

Jesse relocated to Orange five years ago, jumping at an opportunity to buy a house and settle in the Colour City with his young family.

Seeing there’s a real need for another locksmith to service Orange and the surrounding area, Jesse decided to go out on his own and he’s excited to be back doing the work he knows and loves.

“Locksmithing is my passion. It's what I know and Orange is quite a big town and there were only two locksmiths, so I saw a market for it and thought I might as well jump in,” he said.

Jesse is now available for all general locksmithing work and at very competitive rates.

“With the cost of living at the moment, people are looking carefully at where their money is going, so I want to make sure my rates are fair and affordable,” Jesse said, who is also making a point of offering discounted rates to pensioners.

Whether it’s installing new locks, rekeying old locks or better securing your windows, Jess has extensive experience and knowledge of home security and is happy to give advice.

“It’s about pointing people in the right direction of proper security and not just being there just to make a dollar,” he said.

“But the biggest thing for me is that I'm very honest with my customers. At the end of the day, a lock is a deterrent and you can never fully guarantee someone can't break in, but we can try to deter the best we can and that's my aim of the game.”

Orange Lock and Key is available for all general locksmithing needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in Orange, Molong, Blayney and all places in between.

Automotive locksmithing services are not yet available, but keep an eye out as Jesse says equipping himself and jumping in the car game is his next priority.
