Local “mumpreneur” Trang Le, believes coming to the Colour City is the best thing she ever did.

Originally from the ancient Vietnamese capital of Hue, she is also making a name for herself with her own range of marinades and sauces, but it was Orange that gave her big break, she believes.
“I came to Australia in 2012; I stayed in Sydney for only two weeks and then came to Orange and have never regretted it. Orange has very nice people and a good hospital and good parks and sports facilities for a young family like mine,” she said.
With three children, Michael aged eight, Charlotte, aged four, and Emily, three, and juggling her Summer Centre food-court business, a food van for events, and sauces sideline, Trang likes keeping busy, even during lockdown.
“I’m still doing orders for hotels and the like, with online shopping for my sauces and marinades. I’m lucky I still have orders online, otherwise keeping going would be too hard,” she said.
“With the sauces, I make them all myself, and they’re going very well,” she said.
Trang’s sauce and marinade range includes classics like lemon grass, Hoisin, barbecue sauce, a Nuoc Mau traditional Vietnamese caramel sauce, and salad dressing.

While juggling a number of responsibilities is never easy, Trang believes that there many benefits to balancing business and motherhood Trang believes.
“I love the challenge and the variety of working with my team. I never knew I could do so many things and it makes be happy for my kids to see me accomplish so much and be a mum.
“In all honesty, I’m a bit of an ‘octopus mum’,” Trang laughs. “I try and do everything, but the secret is to be balanced in both your life and your business,” she said.
