Each week the 119 team create special care boxes for those in our community who are doing it tough. With support from local supplies customers giving donations all you have to do is pop in ask between 3-4pm, no questions, no judgement – “It’s just our way of helping,” said Kate.

“I previously owned the Anson Tea House which came up for sale all those years ago, I just thought it would be fun to do – 18 years later I’m still doing food and this is the seventh year in business for 119. I’ve just loved the people aspect of the job, I’ve employed hundreds of people in the last 18 years.
I can’t tell you how good it feels to see people here laughing and enjoying themselves. I just love being around people, It’s good for your soul and I think our customers have really missed that connection as well.”
