Amy Wilson - People of O-Town
“My family and myself moved to Orange in November 2017 from Bundaberg Queensland. My Husband, our eldest daughter, my Mum and I are originally from NSW, we have family here in Orange and we wanted to enjoy the four seasons again, 20 years of heat and humidity was enough for me.
What not many people know about me is that I have met Muhammad Ali when I was four years old. He was in Australia in 1979 and he carried me all over Taronga Zoo.
I have worked within the Aged Care Industry for over 10 years now and I would have to say my favourite part of the job is having the ability to brighten the day of the residents. I love the relationships that are made between the residents their families and myself.
My journey at Gosling Creek Aged Care has just begun, and I already love the atmosphere of the work environment and friendships that have been made. They are wonderful people.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me baking, that’s my biggest love.”
