ACES here for the long term — that’s no hot air!
After nearly 50 years of doing business in Orange, Thermal Air have a new name, new leadership team and grand plans for the future.
Now trading as Air Conditioning Engineering Services (ACES), the long-running local business is looking forward to doing big things in Orange, thanks to the support and buying power of their new parent company ARA Mechanical Services Pty Ltd.
Prior to the acquisition by ARA Mechanical, Thermal Air had faced an uncertain future, but new Regional General Manager Scott Mclean, said ACES is here to stay.
His mission is now to grow the business and for ACES to become a household name in Orange and throughout the Central West.
“We don't want to completely forget about the Thermal Air name, because it is part of our history, but it was time for a change to reflect our new direction,” said Scott.
“We are still the same business, with the same great staff, but now we’re backed by the resources of ARA Mechanical and it’s a big organisation. The ARA Group employ over 2000 people and last year had a turnover of about $555 million.
“Now thanks to their backing and the support of our great local team we are going to grow the business, get bigger and better — we see a big future for us here in Orange!”
ACES have an experienced team of local tradesmen, who are able to tackle any heating or cooling job from large commercial installations to home split systems, panel heaters, gas and wood fires.
“We have three apprentices and four tradies on the tools,” said Scott. “Plus, we have a sales manager who is also a qualified tradesperson, and we have a service manager who is also a qualified tradesperson. So, we have a lot of skill and a lot of knowledge in the business.
“We’re currently doing a contract for a new large accommodation development as well as domestic installations.
ACES stock a wide range of electric, gas and woodfired heaters from leading brands.
To celebrate their new name and new direction, ACES sales manager David Jeffries is offering two very special offers on Daikin air conditioners.
“We've managed to secure some pretty good pricing from Daikin for two limited-time deals,” said David.
“We have a Bedroom Package and it will be back to back installation of a new Daikin split system for $1800 installed. Then we have the Living Room Package, which is the installation of a larger unit suitable for the living area of a house for $2750.”
“We will run this deal until the end of October, so now is a good time to get organised prior to the hot weather!” For more details contact our friendly team on 02 6362 5944 or email us at orange@acesair.net.au – Conditions Apply!
