“Contrary to popular belief, I actually like a real quiet life, I like to lock myself away in the garden, with my music and my family.

I’m obsessed with gardening and succulents; I have a rather large cactus and succulent collection.

I love heavy metal music and heavy rock, I grew up in a family that loved music, my Dad loved all the classics like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, my Mum loved all of the 80’s. I have always had music in my life.

I’m a big supporter of local live music.. I’m what you call a musician that doesn’t play a musical instrument, I’d love to play but I’ve never fully committed myself to an instrument sadly.

I’m so proud of my family, my daughter, Lily Elliott, who is now singing and playing guitar in her own band called ‘The Blindly Led Youth’. I’m very proud of Bensons too, I’ve been here for 10 years now so it kind of feels like home, also a customer making a mug and t-shirt with my face on it! That was such a cool thing to receive!

I’m a vegetarian and am very passionate about the Earth. I’m a very open person, I tend to blurt my views all the time. I love working around people and with people, I’m known to rant if I get on a passionate topic like politics or music.” *laughs*
