“Football has been a big part of my life, I’ve never really known anything else, it’s always just been something I was very passionate about and wanted to give my best in. In saying that, it’s given me some pretty good injuries over the years. I’ll never forget snapping my femur at school playing tackle footy, down the back with a flat basketball, and spending three months in hospital.
On my days off, when I find the time I enjoy listening to different podcasts having a read.
I’m so proud of my kids and partner- they are my life. I’m also super proud to have won the Dance for Cancer 2019 with the One Strength boys, it is without a doubt the best experience I’ve ever had!
The amount of people that get behind and support your journey is unbelievable and the people involved are one in a million. When it came to dance, well, not being able to dance, our dance school turned us into cheerleaders and made us look awesome, they were terrific. It’s easily a memory and experience I’ll never forget and I’m very grateful that I got to do it and who I got to do it with.”
