OAGS celebration
There was much to celebrate at Anglican Grammar School (OAGS) last week as they officially opened their new hardcourt area, unveiling its name ‘The ‘Hangar.’ The new 1250 square metre space was dubbed ‘The ‘Hangar’ in respect of Orange’s history of Aviation.
The 1250-square-metre space hosts a synthetic gel surface, with courts for basketball, netball and tennis. It will be a place for students to come together and a place to play during wet weather, in the future OAGS is also looking for the space to be utilised for creative and performing arts.
As well as the unveiling and in front of many local dignitaries, OAGS took the opportunity to induct their Year 12 students, the commissioning of Primary and Secondary School captains and the commissioning of new staff.
Congratulations Orange Anglican Grammar School, the school community have much to look forward to in the new school term.
