A BIG A for effort!

The Spring Hill community held the inaugural Whistlestop Festival on the Weekend of March 30th but alas, the weather didn’t play ball. Despite the cold weather, the effort by the community is to be applauded and plans for a bigger and better day are already in place for next year. The event included 30 stalls, the Cobb and Co coach, a variety of displays including a railway display, the Millthorpe Museum and the Army. Also available were horse rides and lots of steam engines and Days of Old equipment. The fund raised were split between the local Rural Fire Station and the Community action Committee for projects in the community
