McCormack Barber Real Estate invite you to the party of the year!
Come to Waratah Sports Ground this New Year’s Eve for an evening of family friendly entertainment and, of course, a massive fireworks display!
“It is a really relaxed, family-friendly, alcohol-free event where people can take the whole family very inexpensively and have a great night!” said Pete McCormack of McCormack Barber, who have been hosting the annual fireworks celebration for the past seven years.
“And we have a couple of live bands that will be there, great local acts. We will have food stalls, jumping castles, live music and then the New Year's Eve fireworks will be kicking off at 9.15pm.”
Entry to the Waratah Sports Ground is just a gold coin donation, a very small price to pay for the best seats to take in a spectacular display of fireworks.
“It is all choreographed to music, so you’ll get a much better view there,” said Pete. “And I'll be doubling whatever we take in the gold coin donation by up to $5000 of my own money, so if we raise $5000 I'll double that and we can potentially give $10,000 to drought relief!”
The party kicks off at the Waratah Sportsground at 7pm on Tuesday 31 December, with the fireworks scheduled for 9.15pm. Traffic management will be in place to ensure people can leave the grounds quickly.
“I really encourage people to come along to the Sportsground. They’ll get a much better experience of the fireworks, the kids will have a great time with the jumping castles and food, and the gold coin donation goes to a fantastic cause!”
