Long Lunch with a legend of sports commentary
Put Orange First invites you to join legendary sports commentator Jim Maxwell at a long lunch to raise money for charity Gotcha4Life.
Maxwell is best known for his coverage of Australian cricket. He joined the ABC in 1973, as a specialist sports trainee and over his career has provided radio commentary for 308 Tests and numerous One Day Internationals, including seven World Cups.
Maxwell has edited the ABC Cricket Magazine since 1988 and is the author of four cricket books, including his memoir, The Sound of Summer.
You can join Jim Maxwell at a long lunch at 12-4.30pm, 6 December at the Emus Rugby Club. Tickets at $90 with money raised going to support the work of Gotcha4Life.
Gotcha4Life is a not-for-profit Foundation that funds sustainable educational workshops, training programmes and products building mental fitness in communities across Australia. Their vision is to enable strong, open and binding relationships, where people are comfortable to express themselves when they are not Ok.
