Popular Plant Sale on again

The Friends of the Orange Botanic Gardens will be hosting their annual plant sale on Sunday, November 3 from 8.00am-11am.

“We always get a really good crowd at our sales, so we are looking forward to meeting all of the enthusiastic people and looking forward to a successful day,” said, Member of Friends of the Orange Botanic Gardens, Trevor Gazzard.

“I think it would be very good for somebody who is first starting a garden as it can be quite expensive to start. If you can buy a few here to start you it would be good! The plants for sale are all locally grown and propagated by us and the money raised will go back into Friends of Botanic Gardens,”

The annual bird walk will be from 8:30am to 10am, please meet at the Function Centre of the Orange Botanic Gardens.

Come and support the hard-working committee of the Friends of the Botanic Gardens who are a volunteer group supporting the Gardens through fundraising, hands on projects and information events.
