It’s birthday time at Frockwork Orange!

Can you believe Orange’s premier purveyor of quality recycled fashion opened its door 20 years ago? And current owner Julia Hobbs, bought the business ten years ago today!

To celebrate the milestone, Frockwork Orange will be serving up cake and champagne all day to their loyal customers and giving 10% off everything today only (October 31st)

Frockwork Orange sells quality used and new fashion clothing and accessories on consignment, with Julia splitting the sale price with the clothes’ owners.

“Ladies bring their beautiful clothes in and I sell them for them,” said Julia. “Often clothes come in and they've still got the brand-new tags on them and I get a lot from boutiques that are closing down and need to clear stock — so there is a lot of brand-new stock in the shop as well.”

At Frockwork Orange you will find plenty of formal wear, evening wear, vintage items, handbags, shoes, jewellery, furs and more.

“Stock walks through that door every single day, so the turnover is incredible, there is a huge variety and selection of clothing here. I sell to 90-year-olds and I sell to 15-year-olds. There is a huge cross section of people that come in,” said Julia, who you can see genuinely loves what she does.

“It is a really great shop and it's lots of fun; It is somewhere that you can take your clothes, that you paid a lot of money for, and they get a second life, they go to someone who really wants it,” she said.

“I’ll be serving champagne and cake all day on Thursday… I guess I want to say a big thank you to all my beautiful loyal customers over the last ten years!”
