The 68th Australian National Field Days!
A key Agricultural event in our calendars and Australia’s Oldest Annual Agricultural Exhibition, The Australian National Field Days (ANFD) are on again, and now more than ever, we need to get behind our farming community!
More than 500 exhibitors will travel to the Borenore site (15kms west of Orange, NSW) from all over Australia to display their products and services during the three-day event, 24th-26th October.
ANFD Manager, Jayne West said, “It’s amazing how the Australian agriculture industry continues to pull together in good times and in bad to move forward. It’s no wonder our industry represents one of the most advanced with the sophistication of Australia’s agricultural land management continuing to increase and our farmers among the most self-sufficient in the world.”
“Participation by exhibitors and attendance by industry and other visitors is part of the collaborative investment in agriculture and the success of the event year after year.
There is so much to see and do at the 2019 event, Get revved up with Eljay Motorbikes’, ‘Calm the farm’ at the ANFD Petting Zoo, and Don’t Forget the Pavilion Demonstrations, along with your annual favourites including the fashion parade, sheep dog and puppy training and the rural art show.
This year’s exciting featured exhibit is the Central West Beef on Show- An expansive Exhibit of Cattle Breeds & Breeders.
“This is really one of the only events that brings together in one place the huge range of people involved in agriculture, families, rural and regional support industries, and the community,” Jayne explained.
“We strive to cater for everyone within the field day line-up. As a result, it really is a great social day out for the entire family. It’s also an opportunity to reconnect with people, share ideas and strategies or just have some time off.
“While we still have a strong focus on showcasing agricultural innovation and the cutting edge of technology, people who make the annual pilgrimage to the ANFD also enjoy strolling through E Street stalls or kicking back with a cold drink and listening to some great local music.”
Gates open from 8:30am, a courtesy bus will leave the Orange Visitors Centre in Byng Street at 9am, 10am and 11am, each day, with just a gold coin donation required.
