Must See Exhibition in Millthorpe

The May Raechelle Art Gallery in Millthorpe is always bringing the best artistic talent to the region, this time featuring Parkes Mosaic Artist Susan M Maddison, exhibiting from now until February 24.

Susan has 13 years of experience working with mosaics and she has a unique style that spans over influences of nature, mythology and Pablo Picasso. All of her pieces are handmade using ceramic tiles, stained glass, mirror and china. Her base materials are recycled from products found in garage sales and resource recovery centres, adding that special touch to her works.

“All my art is created in a small studio on the hobby farm I share with my second husband, John. In Parkes, my work is on display and available for purchase at Craft Corner. I also regularly display art at the Hall Markets near Canberra, and I am also available for commissioned work,” said Susan.

Susan is back in Millthorpe by popular demand with this being her third time visiting the Gallery as their Rural Art guest.

You can see Susan’s works on display from 10am-3.30pm located at 10 Pym St Millthorpe at the May Raechelle Art Gallery. Her works will be on display until February 24.
