RANDOM REGO: Win up to $250 a week!

One of the promotions we've been running in our Orange City Life publication for quite some time has been our Random Number Plate competition. Basically, we randomly spot a number plate in the street, print the rego number in OC Life and give readers a few days to claim the prize. We offer $50 each week and have jackpotted the prize each week.

We've decided to move that from Orange City Life across to the Orange City News website to help promote our new online news service.

From Thursday (August 2), we'll change the name from the Random Number Plates Competition to the Random Rego Competition. Next, EACH WEEKDAY we'll randomly select a vehicle driving around town and put the number up on our online news website www.orangecitynews.com.au

What you have to do, is come to this website each day to check if the number is yours, if it is, you have until the end of that day (5pm) to claim your prize which is a $50 Shop Orange Gift Card. The card can be spent at any one or more of 80 local Shop Orange member businesses.

The first Random Rego number will be up on Thursday, so go to www.orangecitynews.com.au to see if it's yours.

Each day the prize is not claimed it will jackpot $50 until Friday each week, and then start at $50 again the following Monday. This means the least you could win is $50, and the most being $250.

We'll do this right through August and then decide whether to continue along this path or introduce something different. Good luck everyone!
