The Sculptures in an Orange Garden (SOG) always prove to be a popular event and submissions are now open for 2019 for those who would like to be involved.

The event is a great opportunity for all sculptors to showcase their work, gaining exposure to over 15,000 people who visit Orange during Orange Food Week. Last year 40% of the 210 works on display where purchased.

The event will again be held at the beautiful location of ‘Rosemont’ 909 Cadia Road Springside. The established garden is a 15-minute drive from Orange and provides a wonderful ambience for the event as the garden itself is a great attraction.

The Friends of Orange Regional Gallery (FORG) are pleased to add prizes to the exhibition including; FORG-ORAF People’s Choice 1st Prize $2,000 and 2nd prize $1,000, Children’s People Choice will be four prizes of $50 and a Best School Entry will be $300.

There will also be a preview cocktail party on Friday April 12 from 4.30pm-7pm, bookings are essential.

Early bird entry fee is only $20 until December 31, then entry fee will be $30 in 2019 with entries closing on March 30.

The FORG and SOG committee were very pleased with the event last year and hope it continues to grow it in the coming years.
