The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner but some families, the gift of giving can be difficult. That's why the 105.9 Hit Squad need your support to help families in need across the Central West.

The team will be running their Christmas Toy Drive for the Salvation Army and you can help by bringing in unwrapped toys to the Hit Reception located at Gateway Crs, Orange.

“For us the Toy Drive is a chance for us to give to those in need over the Christmas period. Christmas is one of the happiest times of the year, a chance to be with family and friends, to celebrate and to spoil our loved ones.

“The idea of families in need not being able to afford Christmas presents is a heartbreaking thought. Having children wake up without the joy and happiness of presents to open is not what Christmas is about so we want to do all we can to ensure that everyone in the Central West has a memorable Christmas and every kid wakes up with a smile and a present on Christmas Day.

“We are looking for presents from toy cars, DVDs, CDs, books, gift cards, sporting equipment and more - get creative. When you’re out shopping this Christmas spare a thought for those in need and spend a little extra on someone else knowing you will make their Christmas,” said Mike and Nix.
