Aiming to be No 1 in the region!

Peter Fisher’s Michael Wright and sales assistant Ashleigh Bock

Some months back Orange City Life changed the title on our Real Estate supplement from Your Place to Orange Property Market (OPM). We did this for a number of reasons but one of the bigger reasons was to pave the way for future growth, mainly to develop our own local real estate website and then work towards becoming the Number 1 source for buyers and sellers in not just Orange but the local region. We feel there is opportunity to better simplify and localise the process for buying, selling and renting local properties. We also want to provide our loyal group of local agents with more opportunities for them to serve their customers even better.

The OPM supplement in OC Life is already picked up and read by more people than any other real estate publication in Orange, in fact up to four or five times as many people pick up a copy of Orange City Life each week against the number who buy a copy of the CWD on a Saturday which carries the Domain supplement.

From this week too, we’ll include a couple of pages at the start of OPM to provide News on interesting, relevant and helpful property related matters. Our homes are often referred to as our castles, so including more news about such a treasured possession would seem to make very good sense. On that note, readers can look forward to some useful and entertaining reading in our new Property News pages.

Also, the new www.orangepropertymarket.com.au website will launch very soon and this will provide local real estate agents, buyers, sellers and renters with another string to their bow for meeting their real estate needs.

Over the last 11 years or so, Orange City Life has become a highly regarded and respected local publication, it’s unlike anything else available anywhere. We know of no other publication anywhere in Australia that does close to what we do or that has captured the imagination of its local community as we have. Orange City Life is unique and continues to defy the downward trend being experienced by publications of all types right across Australia. Copies are still available to whoever wants them at no cost, and that’s because a lot of loyal local advertisers over the years have trusted us with their print advertising. We wouldn’t be here without them.

Part of our growth has also seen several respected local real estate agents put their trust in us with their advertising and stick with us. We believe there are several reasons for this including they are happy with us, happy with our service and happy with the results they are getting through our association.

We are without a doubt the most loved, most read, most respected local publication in Orange, that’s makes us No. 1.

Now we’re aiming at becoming the No. 1 source for local property through our Orange Property Market magazine supplement and our new www.orangepropertymarket.com.au website.

So let me finish with this - each time you advertise with Orange City Life, or when you decide to sell your property through one of the agents who advertise with us, you’ll be helping us work towards achieving that.

Breakout:

Good marketing yields goods results!

The recent sale of five Nashdale properties was heavily advertised in Orange City Life in the lead up to the auction on 24 July. Selling agent Michael Wright from Peter Fisher Orange said the extra advertising with Orange City Life yield good results, with significant interest from local buyers.

“We advertise fairly extensively,” said Michael. “Here, we used Orange City life pretty well and took an extra full page, which got a very good response form the market locally, we had some very strong local buyers.

“Because it was such a comprehensive campaign, we actually have clients left over that are looking for similar sort of properties to that we auctioned,” said Michael. “If anyone is thinking should we sell or should we wait until spring, the answer is no. We have qualified buyers who are ready to buy! So, if you are interested, we would certainly love to hear from you.”
