Warm up this winter with Pickleball

A new sport to play as well as the chance to relax near a cosy fire, that’s what Orange Indoor Tennis Centre can offer the public this winter.

We all know how important physical activity is for our health and wellbeing but as the cooler weather sets in, it can be that little bit harder to get motivated.

That’s where pickleball comes in! “What is pickleball?” I hear you ask.

Pickleball is a paddle and ball sport played on a hard court with a net and up to four players.

Think tennis, badminton and ping pong wrapped up in one neat little package.

It’s fun for all ages and you don’t need to have any previous experience to join in.

The Orange Indoor Tennis Centre runs pickleball every Thursday night and the best part is it is all indoors (no icy winds or rain here!)

Orange Indoor Tennis Centre also has a cosy fire in its lounge area.

They provide all the equipment you need. The friendly staff are also on hand to help you learn the game. Bring your friends along for a night of fitness and fun.

Orange Indoor Tennis Centre hosts pickleball on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm at its Palmer St location (behind the Orange Function Centre).

Cost is $10 per person (your first visit is free). To get involved call the Orange Indoor Tennis Centre on 6362 9811.
