Sauce puts your favourite picture “in the frame”

Picture Framing by Sauce Design can elevate any piece of art – from a sketch to an accomplished oil painting – to the centrepiece of your home.

Professional framing, according to Director of Sauce Design, Kira Brown, can make all the difference.

“A custom picture frame can really boost a picture. It can take your kids’ drawings or an inexpensive memento and elevate them to a more polished work.

“It’s about matching the piece to the frame that complements the artwork. We help you to select the moulding for each frame and you choose the border colours and the frame to best set-off the work,” she added.

Kira says that many clients explore thematic use of multiple frames to create a montage effect.

“You can make a work a part of a feature wall, like a gallery – a collection of, say, family images in a range of cohesive or matching frames,” she explained.

Sauce also offers a wide variety of framing solutions including: computerised multiple-hole matboard cutting in all sizes, colours and shapes; shadowbox; floating artwork; single or multiple matting; tapestries; embroideries and diamond-dot artworks; customised box frames for football jumpers and other sporting jerseys (which can include photographs and information); memorabilia ranging from war medals and service records to granny’s wedding shoes or the little one’s ballet footwear, a cricket bat, or even a (shortened) rowing oar.

“We offer professional advice and beautiful custom framing from our friendly team of two expert designers and two artists – and our prices are competitive and realistic. We have many happy repeat customers who will attest to our quality service.

“Our talented design team also offers a unique design and photoshop service – from digital photo touch-ups to creative photo montages and layouts – to preserve your precious memories.”

Kira says that Sauce enjoys the challenge of something different. “From straightforward artwork, photos, canvas stretching, to memorabilia large and small, we complete your framing quickly (usually within one week) and beautifully, with sturdy hangings and fastenings.”

Sauce Design is also one of the region’s longest-established design studios with a reputation for top-quality design at reasonable rates since 1998.

“We do all sorts of design work, like publications from brochures to annual reports to large format books, website design, exhibition and interpretive panels.

“Our core focus is that everything is custom-designed, you come to us with what you want, and we’ll create work to suit your needs,” she added.

Sauce is in the Anson Street Plaza, just off Summer Street, with ample nearby parking. Park in the Orange Central Square (Coles) underground car park and walk into the laneway leading to Summer Street.

“The Plaza entrance is then on your right, and we are halfway along the ground floor on your left,” Kira explained.

“Our shop is open Monday to Friday, 9-5pm; we’re Covid-safe – please check-in to our office when visiting.”
