Let the Grand Finals begin!
This weekend, Saturday 21, Sir Jack Brabham Park will come alive with football action for the local Junior Soccer Grand Finals. Action starts from 9am. Local soccer fans will be treated to great days action and Orange City Life is delighted to show you who will be starring on the day. Good luck to all players and teams!
Under 12’s Grand Final for the U12 Championship– CYMS Green vs Ex-
Services Panthers.
CYMS Green were the Premiership winners by two points over 2nd place & 6 points over 3rd
placed Ex-Services Panthers. So, it’s a battle between the best team over the season up
against the in-form 3rd placed team for the U12 Championship in this Saturday’s Grand Final.
Under 13’s Grand Final for the U13 Championship – CYMS Green vs
CYMS Blue
Another 1st vs 3rd game where CYMS Green were the Premiership winners, three wins ahead
of 3rd placed CYMS Blue. The teams have played each other twice this year with a win to each team & only 1 goal difference in both games.
Under 13 – CYMS Blue no photo but players are:
Riley Allen, Sebastian Benton, Will Corben, Liam Faul, Mitchell Fuller, Harrison
King, Nathaniel Lee, Heath McAtamney, Marco Mileto, Rocco Mileto, Mitchell
Milton, Harry Munro, Max Munro, Jack Prevett, Keegan Willis, Lacey Brown.
Under 14’s Grand Final for the U14 Championship – CYMS Green vs
Waratah Knights
Waratah Knights finished 2nd in the Premiership race by 3 points to CYMS Green, but overturned this in the Major Semi Final winning the game 2-0 to be the first team into the Grand Final. These teams played each other twice during the regular season with both teams having a win each. So this year the Grand Final should be a close affair with both teams a chance to take out the U14 Championship.
Under 15’s Grand Final for the U15 Championship – CYMS Green vs
Waratah Vikings
CYMS Green defeated the higher placed Waratah Vikings in the Major Semi Final to become the first
team through to the Grand Final. Vikings have earned their place with a big win in the Final over the
3rd placed team to set up a rematch with CYMS and are looking for revenge in the Championship
game.
Under 16’s Grand Final for the U16 Championship – CYMS U16 White
vs Ex-Services Tigers
Ex-Services Tigers only lost one game this year and that was the Major Semi Final to CYMS White, so
the U16 Grand Final should be a great rematch. These two good teams are full of players who know
each other very well, with many of them team mates in various Orange Rep teams over the years.
