Ladies looking for a lift in spirits or to plan a wedding this September are being invited to a special Spring Glamour Fashion Day on Saturday, September 7.

This creative pop-up event is being hosted by five local retailers for shoppers wanting to celebrate spring 2019 in style.

“This is for people going to any special events this season; grad balls, spring balls, race-days, or deb balls,” Julia Hobbs of “Frockwork Orange” explained.

The special one-off experience will provide shoppers with the full-range of get-out-and-have-fun clothes and accessories for any occasion.

“We’ve got millinery (headpieces, veils and accessories), jewellery, lingerie, make-up, cocktail dresses and, if things go well, wedding gowns,” Julia laughed.

Retailers involved in the celebration include Phillipa Mitchell, Intimo Bra-Fitting Specialist and Marriage Celebrant; independent Nutrimetics consultant, Deb Thornberry; and Guiliano Ryan from “Jewels of Wellness” featuring Bling Jewellery, Sparkly Gems, Sterling silver and Mariana Jewellery.

“Want a headpiece, veil, and accessory for that special occasion, races, bridal and casual? We’ve also got Julie Powell from Julie Herbert Millinery, Winner of the 2019 Orange Business Awards, Excellence in Retail,” Julia explains.

“I’ll also present a small selection of my great range of bridal and cocktail gowns from my Lords Place store,” Julia said.

The event is on from 1-4pm on the Saturday at the 2nd Orange Scout Hall in Kite Street (opposite the underground Orange City Centre carpark).
