This Sunday - all roads should lead to…

Thousands of visitors will descend on Millthorpe this Sunday, April 7 for one of the region’s most anticipated and beloved events, the Millthorpe Markets.

Held in the grounds of Millthorpe Public School and the adjacent Redmond Oval, the Markets will be hosting over 280 stallholders, showcasing everything from fashion to face-painting, clothing to candles, gourmet delights to homewares and of course a plethora of delicious, fresh food, said Coordinator Rachel Booth.

“We are so excited to again offer an amazingly diverse range of stalls, with some familiar faces joined by exciting new products,” said Rachel.

“Our Autumn market is a fantastic place to do some Easter shopping, explore the markets and the gorgeous village of Millthorpe. Visitors can also relax in our lovely school and oval grounds, enjoy a coffee, snack or lunch and take some time out listening to a selection of local musicians.”

The Millthorpe Markets are organised by the Millthorpe Public School P&C and have been running for over a decade. Over this time, they have expanded to one of the largest community events in regional NSW.

Entry to the market is by gold coin donation, with all funds raised going towards educational resources for the school’s 290 students.

Free car parking facilities are available just a short walk from the markets in the grounds of St Canice’s Church, Park St, Millthorpe and bus parking is available in the grounds of the Woodblind Factory, 1A Victoria St, Millthorpe. Designated disabled parking spaces are located on Park St, just next to the Redmond Oval gates. A shuttle bus can take visitors from the Church car park to the markets and return them to their cars.
