Come and enjoy Matt Arthur

A professional guitarist and singer with over 30 years’ experience, Matt Arthur is returning to Canowindra’s popular Sunday Sessions at the Bowlo this month.

The monthly afternoons of live music at the Canowindra Community Bowls and Recreation Club grow in popularity month to month and organiser Eleena Markcrow said they are excited to see Matt back on stage.

“Matt Arthur knocked us off our seats last time he joined us for a Sunday Session, so we wanted him back to play more,” said Eleena.
“A legend on the guitar and a true entertainer, we are excited to have him back in Canowindra.”

Specialising in Blues and Rock, Matt started playing guitar at just 8 years of age. He relocated from Sydney to Orange in early 2015 following the sale of his, My Guitar School in Sydney, which taught over 500 students with a staff of eight teachers.

Matt has become a regular sight at gigs all through the Central West and last year 2018 saw the release of his debut solo album, On Their Shoulders — a collection of covers paying tribute to the artists who have inspired him.

You can catch Matt at the Canowindra Community Bowls and Recreation Club from 3-6pm, this Sunday 7 April, 2019.

For just $23, you can leave the car at home here in Orange and catch a bus to and from the gig.

The bus will be leaving Summer Street (opposite Hotel Canobolas) at 1.45pm, with a quick stop in Cargo on the way to Canowindra. The bus will depart from the Sunday Session at 6.45pm and arrive back in Orange about 8pm.

Tickets can be purchased online. Find the link on the Sunday Sessions at the Bowlo Facebook page.
