The Wheels are in Motion

It’s on again! The Southern Cross Street Cruisers 14th Annual Car Show and 13th Annual Swap Meet Car and Bike Show will be held on Sunday, March 24, at the Orange Showground/ Leeds Parade.

Picture this, a family day out with live music, jumping castles, face painting, delicious food and drinks, sounds like a great day out right?


The family orientated club raise money on the day which goes to local charities including; Beyond Blue, Lions Club, Daffodil Cottage and Street Swags.

Public Relations officer for the Club, Jason Smith said, “We have plenty of attractions for car enthusiasts, though this year we are going all out and our main focus is for families.

“We hope the whole family can come and enjoy the displays and have some fun, and that you get a good bargain and see some cool cars. It’s not just car parts for sale, we will also have a lot of Bric-a-Brac.”

This year there will also a ‘New Car Display’ by Tony Leahey and West Orange Motors which will be a first for the meet.

Gates will open for swappers at 5am, from 6am to 9am for car and bike show entrants and 9am for the general public. The entry cost is $15 for car and bike show entrants and $2 for lookers. There will be trophies for the charity Car, Bike show entrants.

The Swap Meet Car and Bike Show will be called off if it rains.
