Australian National Field Days

We took a stroll out the field days last week and caught up with Rotary Club of Orange North who, each year and for the past 19 years, host the catering pavilion.

Battling the heat, the flies and the rumbling tummies, hard at work, they keep coming back for more! I spoke to Rotary Club of Orange North Service Director, Ray Williamson.

“We love coming out to the field days, we get to talk to an awful lot of people, people get to know us, we advertise Rotary and try to encourage people to accept us as an essential part of the community. From the few days we often get a lot of community help and raise money to run our community programs for the year.”

Ray mentioned the Rotarians enjoy heading out each year and having a bit of fun, “It’s a wonderful program and a great few days, we can all appreciate the farming community, we can see the fantastic innovations and it’s a great way for everyone to come out and take a look at the new toys!”

Congratulations to the ANFD for a wonderful 68th exhibition!
