Orange Regional Arts Foundation Announces “Jump Start Arts Grant"

The Orange Regional Arts Foundation is excited to announce a new grant to its arts support grant program. The Orange Regional Arts Foundation (ORAF) works to provide ongoing support for the arts in the region. The Foundation has allocated up to $5,000 annually to support the development of local artists through the Jump Start Arts Grant.

President of ORAF Kathy Snowball said “the main aim of “Jump Start” is to enable artist/s from the Orange region to further develop their skills or improve their capacity to build an enduring career in the arts. We also would like to support people who show potential to access arts skills development opportunities”

The Jump Start Program can support a broad range of activities such as skills and professional development, workshops, mentorships, showcases, residencies or other projects directly related to your arts skills development.

Jump Start is open to emerging artists in any artform, who reside in the Orange region (Local Government Areas of Orange, Cabonne and Blayney.) You must be an Australian citizen or have Australian permanent residency. An emerging artist is someone in the early stage of their career. It refers to the stage you are at in your career rather than your age.

The closing date for applications is 30th September.
