The Orange Regional Conservatorium will throw open its doors and jazz rehearsals from 4pm this Friday 23rd June in support of Beanies for Brain Cancer.

In memory of Brass Teacher David Singh who recently passed away from brain cancer, the ORC Junior Jazz Band and the Big Phatt Jazz Band will put on an afternoon of dynamic jazz music. The public are invited to come along, listen, dance and join in the fun! And of course, the ORC ask that you wear your favourite beanie!

ORC Head of Brass Gerry Ramage, encourages everyone to come along and help celebrate David’s life while also raising funds for this worthy cause.

“David brought such joy and enthusiasm to our team and he was a wonderful musician. We would like to honour his memory by throwing open the doors and sharing the magic of jazz music with the locals. It will be loud and a lot of fun!”

All money raised will go the Mark Hughes Foundation - www.markhughesfoundation.com.au. The National Beanie for Brain Cancer Week is June 19 – 23.
